Banana Moon Bridge of Don are planning a Gala fun day at the nursery grounds on the 24th August 2024 starting at 10am.

What can you expect to find we hear you ask...
Well there will be games such as spin the wheel, Covid surprise, throwing the sponge at the willing volunteers, 'bash the rat' and so many more.
There will be glitter tattoos, raffles, refreshments and hopefully the sun will shine.

Why are are having a fun day? We want to build stronger links with wider community.  This event is open to everyone and not just nursery families. Everyone can come along and support the event.  Banana Moon want to build and grow the sense of community and help others with a smile and love.

We are raising money to start a soup kitchen community project in Aberdeen city. This will help support people in need fighting personal battles that need a helping hand, guidance and support. Aberdeen City Council have identified that 53% of children living in low income families live in their identified locality areas. It identifies the areas that have the poorest outcomes for children as well as areas less vulnerable Child Poverty Action Report 2022/23 (aberdeencity.gov.uk)

The fun day is a way to support the start of this ambitious project whilst allowing the opportunities for our families and supporters to make friends and memories. Save the date and help make a difference.
